My little neighbour's valentine's day
It was the valentine's day and i was at home enjoying the first day of the second test between India and South Africa when this little 9 year old precocious guy, a neighbour of mine rang the doorbell and no sooner did i open the door than he snatched my cellphone and started playing his favourite game. (I have had that cellphone for more than a year now but i've little idea which games it has). He does it all the time so there was nothing new about it but what happened after a little while was very funny and something i hardly expected from a guy of his age. I mean i know he's a smart guy, smarter than most of the kids of his age but still his answer to a question that i put forth to him was rather shocking to me and more to my parents who looked aghast when he answered. What happened was while he was thus reclined onto the sofa as if it was his father's and fiddling with my cellphone, i asked him "dude, what are your plans for the Valentine's day today?"
